Poetry Contest
The Piedmont Literary Society is sponsoring its third annual poetry and essay contest. Cash prizes will be awarded in the following categories: best serious poem, best light verse, best poem by a high school student and best essay of 1,500 words or less.
Entries, with a fee of $1 for all non-members of the Piedmont Literary Society, must be received by contest chairman Mrs. Stanley Presto, 227 Grove Park Circle, Danville, Va., November 15, 1979.
