The film is the story of 19 teenage boys and girls who enroll in the Colorado Outward Bound School which teaches wilderness survival and offers programs to all ages throughout the United States. The teenagers must struggle with rock climbing, rappeling down sheer cliffs, rope bridges high in the air and zipwires. The final test involves climbing the 18, 715foot Santa Rosa Peak in the Peruvian Andes.
By the end of the program, the participants have explored the outer limits of their emotional and physical endurance.
Lkst, but certainly not least, we are registering people now for the new adult discussion group to be led once more by Brady Carrothers.
This fall and winter the group will study drama, from Sophocles to O’Neill. The first meeting will be Tuesday morning, October 2nd at 10:00 A.M., at which time there will be a discussion concerning the most convenient time and place to meet for all participants. There will be a fee of $20.00 for all nine meetings, or $3.00 for an individual session. If you are interested in joining the group, but find that time inconvenient, please let us know.
