"Help a neighbor overcome a hearing problem by donating an unused hearing aid.”
With those words, club president John Schultz launched the Rappahannock lions Club drive to collect hearing aids and distribute them to persons in need. It is part of a nationwide effort by Lions clubs in all SO states being conducted during the first week in October.
Collection bins have been set up in both the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill, and the Rappahannock National Bank at Washington. No longer needed hearing aids and eye glasses deposited in the containers will be repaired if necessary before distribution.
