Festival
Culpeper’s 4th annual Craft and Music Festival will be held this Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Floyd T. Binns School on Rt. 229 N Ext.
The Culpeper County High School Choir will begin the day’s activities at 10 a.m. followed by Geary Parkingson of Norfolk who will perform Blue Ridge Mountain music on various folk instruments at 11 a.m. St. Columbia’s Scottish Country Dancers are scheduled to kick up their heels at noon and 2:30 p.m.
A wide variety of crafts will be displayed for sale, including china painting, ceramics, water color prints and jewelry. Lunch will be served in the school cafeteria. All proceeds from the festival, sponsored by the Culpeper Jayceettes, will go toward community services.
