A public hearing has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on October 9, 1979, in the County Courthouse at Washington, Virginia. The proposed ordinance to grant franchise and to invite bids for the telephone franchise for the Town of Washington is as follows: The Town of Washington, Virginia, hereby invites bids for the telephone franchise proposed to be granted in the following ordinance which was duly passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on the.day of., 1979, which bids are to be in writing and delivered to the presiding officer of the Council of said Town in open session, to be held in the Council Chamber at Washington, Virginia, on the 13th day of November, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock, P.M. the right being reserved.
