Thursday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle were Mr. and Mrs. Yancy Ford of Brightwood. Mr. and Mrs. Settle recently accompanied their son Phil to Blacksburg where he is enrolled at V.P.I.&S.U. where classes began Sept. 19.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Stover were visitors Sunday of Mrs. Ronnie Stover and David in Winchester.
Visitors Saturday and Sunday of Mrs. R. H. Rowzie were her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hann of Catonsville, Md. Supper guests Tuesday of Mrs. Rowzie were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rowzie of Maryland.
Guests from Friday until Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey were Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wendicks and John of Baltimore, Md. Over night guests Monday and spending Tuesday with the Boweys were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie LaPlanche of Glen Burnie, Md.
Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and Marc Streagle spent the weekend in Richmond and attended the State Fair.
Dinner guests Thursday evening of Mrs. Sarah Latham were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Huff of Herndon, David Hoadley of Falls Church, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin of Washington and Mrs. David Streagle and Shannon. Visitors Sunday in the Latham home included the Huffs of Herndon, Sally Mann of McLean, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Dudding and Dallas, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Davis Burke and daughters, all of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines of Washington and Mrs. Streagle and Shannon.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and their families spent Sunday in Hampton visiting Mr. and Mrs. Louis Harlow and children.
