Service On
Red Oak Mt.
Easter Sunday morning a sunrise service will be held at 5:45 a.m. on Red Oak Mountain at Woodville sponsored by Woodville, Amissville and Forest Grove Baptist churches.
The Rev. Bobby Rooper, pastor of the Woodville church, will be the speaker and special music will be provided by the Amissville church.
Foilowning the service, the women of Forest Grove will serve breakfast at the old Forest Grove School. There is no charge fot breakfast, but donations will be accepted.
In the event of rain the service will be held at the Forest Grove Church at Viewtown. The public is invited.
Special Services
Dr. John Visser, missionary behind the Iron Curtain, will be at the Gid Brown Bible Church, Washington, April 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Visser was pastor for 15 years in Amsterdam, Holland.
The public is invited to attend these services. The Rev. John K. Burke is the pastor.
Gospel Singing
The Rev. Edward Jenkins and the Blue Grass Gospel Boys will be at Gid Brown Hollow Pentecostal Church at Washington, Saturday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Mt. Salem Service
Mt. Salem Baptist Church near Washington will have services Easter Sunday, April 6, at 9:30 a.m. The pastor is the Rev. Bobby Rooper of Culpeper. The public is invited to attend.
