OF PUBLIC MEETINGS”
The Rappahannock County Planning Commission has been working toward the completion of the County's first Comprehensive Plan. The County Comprehensive Plan which will also serve as the Town of Washington's Comprehensive Plan, is a study of the County’s natural environment, population, employment, land use, community facilities and transportation characteristics. It also establishes goals and objectives and describes the means for implementing county and town policies. In summary it is a guide for the future ^gowth and development of the Cout\y for tht next 10 to 20 veat*. o?«,v. s j [ in order to obtain advice from- 4fftr Rappahannock County abou* the—Plan, tfew- County-* Planning Commission has scheduled fiv e (5) public meetings at the following locations. Each public meeting will start at 7:50 p.m. and all citizens are welcomed to attend any or all of the meetings. Due to the destruction of the Amissville Fire Hall, the Planning Commission will be unable to hold a meeting in Amissville. We would encourage all interested citizens of the Amissville area to attend one of the meetings at the following locations.
April 7 - Chester Gap - Fire Hall
April 8 - Town of Washington - Courthouse
April 9 - Flint Hill - Fire Hall
April 10 - Sperryville - Fire Hall
April 11 - Woodville - Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church
