The report cites views expressed by a high school staff member that “the present curriculum is not comprehensive enough to meet the student’s interests and needs. Many students cannot enroll in courses in which they are interested either because (a) such courses are not offered at Rappahannock County High or (b) some courses which are offered cannot be scheduled for all interested students.”
In the area of vocational education, the report again notes that “lack of space prevents all interested students from taking advantage of some vocational offerings.”
It is noted, however, that the courses offered at the high school meet minimum requirements set by the state.
