cerning the school board meeting, that the school board member does not have the interests of special education students or teachers at heart; and his statements urging violation of state mandated requirements for special education programs should not be tolerated.
While there can be no assurance that future members of the board will be concerned with following state requirements, the removal of this member of the board may serve as notice that public statements from school board members urging violation of state education requirements will not be tolerated.
It is time for those concerned with quality education in Rappahannock County to make themselves heard concerning this issue.
