Workers
Pre-employment testing for prospective census takers will be given Saturday, April 5, at 11 a.m. in the court house in Washington.
Applicants for paid, temporary work as census takers are urgently needed.
Census takers should be U.S. citizens, age 18 or older. Workers may be hired, however, at age 16 or 17 if they are high school graduates or have equivalent work experience. The citizenship requirement may also be waived.
