Have CP Meet
Amissville residents will have their own community meeting to react to the draft of the county's first comprehensive plan.
Jackson District supervisor J.R. Latham announced that a session will be held on April 14 in the Amissville area so that interested persons will not have to attend one of the five meetings scheduled for other Rappahannock communities.
Initially, a meeting was to be held in the Amissville fire hall. After fire destroyed the building last month, the planning cominissioners agreed to eliminate the Amissville meeting rather than hold it in one of the community’s churches. Public reaction caused this decision to be reconsidered. Time and location of the Amissville meeting will be announced next week.
