RLEP Meets
Friday
RLEP members and guests will be given a “sneak preview” of the county’s proposed new Comprehensive Plan at the organization’s quarterly meeting at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 4th, at the county court house in Washington, Va.
John Capelle, Executive Director of Planning District 9, will host the discussion of the planning document, which will be taken “on the ,road” the following week for a series of community meetings in various parts of the county. The Comprehensive Plan is expected to establish goals and provide the basis for guiding Rappahannock county into the future.
RLEP members, guests, and the general public are invited to the April 4 meeting.
Musical Program
On Sunday
A program at Shiloh Baptist Church at Woodville on Sunday, April 6, will feature The Gospel Pearls of Wood fork and will begin at 3 p.m. Also included on the program wil be Brother Kelly Johnson and his Spiritual Kings.
According to the pastor, the Rev. Brokenburr, the program will benefit the cemetery fund.
