Birchwood Farm in Amissville will host its second summer horse clinic on August 18-20. According to 4-H horse and pony club leader Jane Narramore, the clinic will be oriented towards 4-H but open to anyone from ages 9 to young adults.
Cost per day will be S15 if participants provide their own horses which can be stabled at Birchwood for the three days. An extra S20 will be charged for riders who want to use Birchwood Farm mounts. Youngsters may

Rappahannock County Elementary School will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 21 for parents to arrange book rentals.
In addition to selecting and arranging for book rental, this is an excellent opportunity to meet new teachers, as well as returning teachers.
