Motorcycle trattic mishaps have taken the spotlight in Rappahannock the past few days.
According to Trooper R. A. Baines, a single-cycle accident occurred Saturday evening on Route 211 east of Washington.
Thomas Lynwood Williams of Culpeper lost control of his 1973 Yamaha near Rose Hill, turned over and skidded down the highway. He was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by Washington Rescue Squad for treatment, according to Baines.
Damage was estimated at $100 to the vehicle. Baines said charges were pending.
