Swindler In
Field Training
James E. Swindler II, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Swindler of Sperryville, recently completed a U.S. Air Force ROTC field training encampment at McConnell Air Force Base, in Wichita, Kan.
During the encampment, cadets receive survival and small arms training and aircraft and aircrew indoctrination. They also have the opportunity to observe careers in which they might wish to serve as Air Force officers.
The cadet is currently attending the University of Virginia.
