Fla. were travelling east when Wilkinson made an improper turn in front of Tomkins. They collided and both motorcycles went out of control, said Baines, and slid into the median.
About SSO damage was done to each machine, Wilkinson’s 1966 Harley Davidson and Tomkin’s 1965 Harley. Wilkinson was taken to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, and was charged later with changing lanes improperly.
