Don and Greg Deggeller, second-generation carnival operators, will furnish the * Deggeller Attractions of over SO rides and shows to make up the giant new U-shaped midway of the 1980 State Fair of Virginia, Sept. 18-28.
Among the rides is the allnew Galactica. a mammoth spinning thriller that will be in Richmond for its first appearance anywhere, according to C L Teach worth, executive vice-president of the State Fair.
The Deggeller brothers are the sons of Irvin Deggeller. one of the owners of the former Deggeller Magic Midway that played the State Fair of Virginia for about 10 years. Don is 30 years old and his brother Greg is 23.
Their carnival is enjoying a record season that has taken if them over 15.000 miles and { into 11 states before coming to Richmond.
