For Robinson
J. Carlton Clore of Culpeper, owner and operator of Core Funeral Home, has been named regional finance chairman for the Robinson for Congress Committee, the campaign organization backing 7th District Republican Rep. J. Kenneth Robinson's bid for a sixth term in Congress.
Calling Robinson an “honest, conservative businessman,” Gore cited the congressman’s background in agriculture and expertise with defense problems as reasons for his decision to work for Robinson’s relelection.
Clore, a graduate of Virginia i<.«n, attended mortuary school in Nashville, Tenn., and served for four and a half years as a lieutenant colonel in the U. S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. He has served as president of Culpeper Memorial Hospital and as chairman of the finance committee for the Northern Virginia 4-H Clubs Education Center. He and his wife, Winifred, have three children.
