The 159th Annual Natural Chimneys Jousting Tournament will be held on Saturday. August 16. Over forty horsemen will gather their mounts and at 2:00 p.m.. they will parade their colors past the watchful eye of the towering chimneys into the heat of battle.
The Natural Chimneys with their resemblance to a medieval castle, provide the romantic setting for the day's activities. The attractions that surround the Tournament are: a carnival like atmosphere prevailing both before and between Tournaments with games of chance, famed Virginia food, and bluegrass music. Also there will be many talented Virginia craftsmen who will be displaying and selling their wares.
