The price of drinking alcohol is going up again.
The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control says that approximately 362 of the 954 items on the ABC price list effective Aug. 1 have gone up in price. The price increase is 15 cents or less on more than half of the 362 beverages.
However, the price has gone down on 82 items with the price decreasing 20 cents or less on 64 per cent of those items.
The ABC stores also have added 12 new specialty items to their shelves.
