] In loving memory of our uncle and great uncle, Charles W. Jenkins, who passed away two years ago, August 13, 1978. It was a sad day in August when we stood beside an open grave, We watched them lower the one we loved so dear but could not save, The ones who lost you can only tell the pain and sorrow without saying farewell, There is an open gate at the end of the road that we must each pass. It has been two long years since the angels took you away You will always be with us in our hearts, even though you are gone We can only say, sleep on beloved one, for we loved you but God loved you best, A thousand times we have needed you and have lived in the past wishing you were here, We can only cherish beautiful memories forever. Many tears are shed in our silent thoughts. So sleep on dear one until we met again some sweet day. Sadly missed by your nieces, nephew and great nephews, Polly, Darlene, Judy Vickie, Mark, Wesley, Allen, Tommy and Jeffery. __21 + pd In loving memory of our dear father and husband, Henry D.
