Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr., Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett III.* Holly and Melanie and Mrs. Craig Welling and Judith Certer spent the weekend in Leesburg with Mr. and Mrs. Page Moffett and Billy. They attended the christening of Billy and the confirmation of Mrs. Page Moffett Sunday at St. James Church in Leesburg.

Monday Mrs. Craig Welling and Judith Carter, who have spent July with Mrs. Welling's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr., returned to their home in Gales Ferry, Conn. They were accompanied home by Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr. who will be their visitor for several weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Updike and family left Thursday for their home in Holt, Mo. after spending several weeks here with Mr. and Mrs. John Updike and other relatives. Jennifer, Kelley and Lee John Updike of Newsoms arrived Thursday to spend ten days with their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. John Updike.

Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Eanes, Mark and Jennifer of Martinsvijle spent from Friday until Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lindstrom. Mark and Jennifer are spending several days this week with their grandfather, Mr. Lindstrom and Mrs. Lindstrom.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda of Fairfax spent the weekend with her father. Slant Weaver. John D. Weaver of Washington, D. C. visited Mr. Weaver Thursday.

Sunday visitors of Mrs. Gabe Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther and Stacey of Sperryville.

Mrs. Virginia Smith and her grandson, Louis Duncan Snead of Lynchburg were Wednesday guests of Miss Annie Miller Almond and Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead of Sperryville were Friday callers.

Friday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Norman and Leslie were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke and son of Woodville. The Normans were Saturday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kinsey Wharton, Cindy and Michael in Amissville. Michael Bosnia^ of Culpeper visited the Normans Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith, Comer. Angela and Shelley of Albany. Ga. are spending this week with Mrs. Smith’s mother. Mrs. Alice R. Wood and Miss Mary Miller Wood.

Mrs. Darrell Newland left Saturday to return to her home in Hamilton, Ohio
