A limited number of temporary summer seasonal positions during 1981 are being made available by the United States Forest Service. Applications will be accepted from December 1. 1980 through January 15. 1981 ONLY. The positions are located on fifteen National Forests in Virginia. Alabama, Georgia. Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico.
The jobs to be filled are aids in Forestry, Engineering, Surveying. Hydrology, Biological and Physical Sciences. grades GS-2 through GS-5. Persons applying must be at least 18 years old when they report for duty and should be students majoring in forestry, engineering or related sciences or have experience in these fields. Some jobs require the employee to drive a 10-passenger van or bus or to be a lifeguard at developed recreation areas. If you have such experience, it should be included on the application
