Parents and friends ushered in the Christmas holidays Saturday, December 6, at Wakefield School’s second annual Holly Ball in the school auditorium at Huntly. In attendance were parents and friends from an eight-county area, in proportion to the student enrollment.

The dance featured the Roger Bach Band from Leesburg. Chairmen of the dance committee, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Austin Bach of Hume, commented that the dpnce, a benefit for the school, has become an established tradition.

Assisting with the ball were Mrs. Sue Read of Front Royal in charge of decorations; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Johnson of Delaplane, Mrs. Corinne Salahi of Hume and Mr. and Mrs. James Reynolds of Washington.
