Once the memo is signed, agency volunteers in RSVP qualify for certain benefits, including accident and liability coverage, 15 cents per mile payments on travel to and from their stations and on transportation services they may provide, and $1.86 towards lunch if they work through the lunch period.
“To get these benefits, the agencies receiving volunteer help must sign up with RSVP,” Cowan emphasized.
