The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is coming to Rappahannock.
RSVP has been under way for several years in adjoining counties, creating meaningful opportunities for persons of retirement age to participate more fully in the life of their communities through volunteer service. The program recruits persons 60 years and over to share their talents, experience and skills in service to others.
According to Robert Cowan, volunteer coordinator for Fauquier in charge of expanding the program into Rappahannock, RSVP is looking for both volunteers and stations where they may serve.
