Visitors to Shenandoah National Park during November plunged downward. a decrease of 12.7 percent. During that month this year there were 88,200 visitors while the previous year the total stood at 101,000 for November.
The calendar year visitor total was 1,745,800 for 1980 as compared to 1,582,000 for last year, a 10.3 percent increase.
At Big Meadows, the maximum temperature was 66 degrees while the minimum was 16. Precipitation measured 3.57 inches in November.
