Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a formal gown of silk organza designed with long sleeves and trimmed with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of long-stemmed red roses.
Sherry Owens was maid of honor and Mrs. Kathy Dameron of Manassas was matron of honor for their sister. Their gowns were of Bangkok teal and they carried bouquets of teal and wine carnations.
Bridesmaids were Margie Cox. Terri Burke and Diane Warren of Manassas; Wanda Owens of Falls Church and Janice Fones of Manassas Park. Their gowns and flowers were like those of the other attendants.
Odie Lewis of Norfolk was his brother’s best man and ushers were Louie Jones, Curtis Morris. Mark Lewis, all of South Boston; Johnson Evans of Fairfax, Bill Dameron of Manassas and Andrew Barker of Axton. Bradley Bryant was ringbearer and Jennifer Cox was flower girl.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the Church hall with Mrs. Esther Burke of Manassas, aunt of the bride, as hostess.
Following a wedding trip to the Poconos, the couple are residing in Manassas where Mrs. Lewis is employed with Prince William District Court and Mr. Lewis is a trooper with the Virginia State Police.
