The seven percent voted by the board will accomplish the buy-in costs to the index system, correcting inequities in the present system, and will add 2 percent for inflation. Other than these adjustments, it will not result in an increase in pay for Rappahannock teachers.
The board agreed to apply the same seven percent to other employees and administrators and to increase the educational supplements by the same percent.
