The Administrative Board of the United Methodist Church met at the home of H. S. Barksdale on Monday evening with fifteen members present. The group discussed having a revival with the other two churches on the charge in the near future.
Spending the weekend in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker were Staff Sgt. and Mrs. Jeffrey Wengel, Josh and Tiffany, Pam Eedell, Dale Brough and Joyce Walker, all of Arlington and Spec. 5 J. Rochette of Fort Belvoir.
Mrs. Ethel Pullen, Mrs. Larry Welch and Mrs. Kathleen Nicholson spent from Tuesday until Saturday with their sister, Mrs. Annabelle Sakaski at Norfolk, who underwent surgery.
Miss Ginger Costello of Berry ville and Mrs. Mary Blaisdell spent last Wednesday in Charlottesville.
Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Lillard of Alexandria were Sunday visitors of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson. Thursday supper guests of the Hickersons were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lillard and Clyde Lillard. The Lillards and Hickersons were all guests on Saturday evening of Mrs. Catherine Lillard at Washington.
Mrs. Claude Brooks of Mechanicsville, Mrs. Guy Palmore and Mrs. Luther Kay, both of Richmond were guests last Tuesday of their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning. John B. Browning of Charlottesville spent the weekend with his parents.
Mike Corbin of Fredericksburg was a Saturday overnight guest of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster. Mike and Chris Foster were Sunday supper guests of their grandparents.
Mrs. Mary Beumer of Manassas was a Saturday overnight guest of her mother, Mrs. Guy Foster, Sr. and Betty.
Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lillard and David Lillard of Gainesville, Mrs. Diane Dellinger and Angie of Reliance, Mrs. Debra Clatterbuck and son, Donald Berry of Front Royal, Tommy Lillard of Strasburg, Christine and Stephen Lillard of Castleton.
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr. were Saturday evening guests of Mrs. Robert Nethers. Visiting on Sunday were Mrs. Bob Lewis, Karen Corder, Heather Aylor, Mrs. Ranny Aylor, Mrs. Coffey and Mr. and Mrs. Maynard nethers.
Mrs. Mary Blaisdell was among Sunday dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Krause at Front Royal. The dinner was in honor of Mrs. Kaause’s mother, Mrs. Fred Pearson.
