Mr. and Mrs. James Swindler and daughter, Bobette of Radford College spent last week in Florida.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Palmer of Warrenton and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Updike of Culpeper were hosts at a dinner at the “Depot” in Warrenton on Friday evening in honor of the wedding anniversary of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer.

Dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins were Elder and Mrs. E. S. Skeen of Palmyra, Mr. and Mrs. John Powers of Amissville and Miss Frances Leake of Warrenton.

Mike Swindler of Delaware Law School in Wilmington, Del. spent this spring break with his grandmother, Mrs. Lee Swindler.

Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr., Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather were Sunday afternoon visitors of their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Robert Nethers in Flint Hill.

Mrs. Catherine Brown was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne in Falls Church and attended a joint birthday dinner Friday evening for Mrs. Payne and Mrs. Larry Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser in Alexandria.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thompson of Fork Union were weekend guests of Mrs. Frances Thornton and with Mrs. Amy L. Gore of Fairfax toured the Washington, D.C. area. Mrs. Maurice Manuel of Browntown was an overnight guest last Tuesday of her sister, Mrs. B. M. Varner.
