The Rappahannock Association for Arts and the Community has announced the formation of a film club to sponsor weekly movies at the Gay Street Theatre in Washington.
The club is open to RAAC members for $20 for 10 admissions and to nonmembers for $25. RAAC also plans to sell individual tickets at the box office for a higher price per film.
RAAC’s choice of films reveals a selection of awardwinning and critically acclaimed films. Georgia Walsworth, spokesman for the RAAC film committee, said that copyright laws would prevent the group from advertising the selections, so Rappahannock News readers should clip the following list:
