The first installment of 1983 estimated Federal income tax payments by individuals is due April 15.
Generally, individuals who have estimated tax of $.300 or more and estimated gross income of more than $500 that is not subject to withholding must file a Form 1040ES, Estimated Tax for Individuals. Examples of income not subject to withholding are business income, proceeds from the sale of property and interest and dividend income.
