Mr. and Mrs. Martin Woodward and Adam were hosts at dinner Sunday evening at The Inn at Little Washington for the 36 wedding anniversary of Mrs. Woodward’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bigelson of Kentsington, Md. Mrs. Woodward’s sister, Janice Bigelson of Maryland was also a guest.
Denise Wingfield has returned to James Madison University in Harrisonburg after spending spring break with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Wingfield and Cathy. Denise and a college friend, Shelly Beck attended the NCAA basketball tournament in Greensboro, N.C. while visiting here.

Mrs. W.H. Cordle was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club at her home on Friday evening.
Guests were Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Helen Kilby, Mrs. R.E. Thompsen, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. T.J. Pillar and Mrs. I.R. Kilby.

On Dean’s List
One Rappahannock County student has been named to the dean’s list at Lord Fairfax Community College for the winter quarter 1983.
Barbara C. Copeland achieved at least a 3.2 honor point average on the college’s 4.0 scale.
97.4%
