Centel Rate

The State ^Corporation Cotamission(§CC) on March 18 issued an order granting Central Telephone Company of Virginia only a portion of the increased annual revenue it sought in a filing made lastt September 1 under the dHamission’s Financial Operating Review (FOR) procedure.

The order grants Centel only $1,010,505 of the $1,645,715 the company requested in its FOR filing. Since Centel was authorized to implement its proposed $1.6 million rate increase, subject to refund, last October 1, customer refunds will now be required.
