resentatives to stand in the November Election. The Convention Will be held at Albemarle County Government Center/ Old Lane High School, Couiity Auditorium, at 4:00 P.M.
Those elected as delegate to represent Rappahannock were Lee Bird and Truman Keesey, Washington; Carson Johnson, Sperryville, and Rachel Grimsley, Flint Hill. Diana Bird of Washington and Pearl Clarke from Amissville were elected alternate delegates.
The delegation will go uncommitted to any candidate because the possible candidates were still tinknown. The deadline for filing as a candidate is the middle of April. The incumbent Congressman, J. Kenneth Robinson, a Republican, is retiring at the end of this term.
Lee Bird, County Democratic chairman, announced that a number of persons had filed as delegate to the Democratic State Convention in Norfolk, where presidential convention delegates will be selected May 18-19.
