—Spot site. The architects had proposed building a balcony over the top of the present gym. This would overlook the auditorium and allow space for a follow spot or movie projector. It would also be an area from which teachers could supervise the students below.
Bomberger said that a second floor balcony would not be high enough for a follow spot. A raised platform would need to be added in order to allow for the proper adjustment of the lighting instruments.
