“We found a new world” is the theme used by Girl Scouts throughout the world to celebrate the sense of discovery and accomplishment that comes with (Sri Scouting.
In keeping with the theme, area Girl Scouts chose a birthday celebration centering around aviation to mark the 72nd birthday of Girt Scouting.
Last Saturday, troops from Orange, Culpeper and Rappahannock gathered at the Rappahannock Elementary School for an all-day event including a giant birthday cake, fun with crafts arid parachutes, space games, songs and a magic show.
The highlight of the day was a visitor from the sky.
