Benefit Dinner Planned
A benefit dinner sponsored by the Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary is being planned for Saturday, April 7 at the Sperryville fire hall. The menu consists of country ham, barbecue chicken, vegetables, dessert and beverage.
Serving time will be from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., with carry-out dinners available from 4:30 until 5:15. Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $3 for children and may be purchased from any member of the auxiliary or at the door. For more information call 987-8802.
Library Program
The Rappahannock Library' will sponsor a special program on Oriental rugs next Thursday^ March 29, at 7:30 p.m.
Guest speaker John C. Elsea will talk about the art of rug weaving, the textiles employed, countries of origin and traditions of each. Those who have small oriental rugs are invited to bring them to the program for identification.
