semi-retirement in Rappahannock as a consultant to the Skyline Girl Scout Council and local troops, Helen has been a leader and program chairman for Girt Scouts in Hawaii and a leader in Germany for the overseas program, Troops on Foreign Soil (TOFS). She took her Cadet and Senior troops in Falls Church caving and rock climbing, and kept a promise to her girls
that they’d go jcamping every month. Over the years, they became experienced outdoorswomen.
