—Scenery storage. Somewhere at the high school a specific storage area should be provided for flats and other large pieces of scenery and theatrical equipment.
They are now stored in the “little red building” out back with sports equipment and are sometimes damaged through improper storage, Bomberger said.
—Raise the roof. Bomberger noted he had saved his grandest request for a finale. He requested that the roof be raised over the present stage area in order to build a fly loft.
Bomberger said he would especially like to be able to drop large pieces of scenery — again to Bave time during scene shifts. He kidded that he had saved “the big one” for last.
In responding to his remarks, teacher Lynne Baines said the school system had “been very blessed in the quality of drama” it had received under the guidance of Don Bomberger.
Any support he sought should seriously be considered, Baines said, if the schools would like due (nudity to continue.
