Born At Huntly
Mrs. Virginia Williams Thompson, 70, of Front Royal, died Saturday, March 17,1984, at Warren Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church-at Huntly by the Rev. Merlin Shorb and Rev. Joseph Swack. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson was bom on December 29, 1913, at Huntly, daughter of the late Bub B. and Ethel Heflin Williams. She was married to the late Douglas Gordon Thompson, Sr. and was a member of the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Douglas G. Thompson, Jr. of Anahiem, Calif., James E. Thompson of Reno, Nev. and Lynn M. Thompson of Front Royal; three daughters, Delores and Betty Thompson of Front Royal and Doris Paoni of Front Royal; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one step granddaughter.
Also surviving are three sisters, Viola Jackson and Dora Robinson, both of Front Royal and Cornelia Welch of Huntly.
Turner- Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of arrangements.
