Closed Thanksgiving Day
All state and county offices, schools and banks will be closed Thursday, November 22 in observance of Thanksgiving. The Rappahannock News and the Rappahannock County Library also will be closed. The news office and the library will resume regular business hours on Friday, November 23.
• Early Deadline At News
Due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the next edition of the Rappahannock News will be printed one day early, cn Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. The deadline for all advertising and contributions to the newspaper will be Monday, November 19, at noon.
• Public Schools Close Early
Rappahannock County Schools will close early for the Thanksgiving holidays on Wednesday, November 21, at 2 p.m., Assistant Superintendent Thomas Campbell announces.
