Rappahannock High’s Pop Quiz taam for the season will de, but November 16 in Harrisonburg, Va. The team’s opening match of the season against Luray High School is scheduled to be broadcast on WVPT-TV Harrisonburg, channels 61 or 42, beginning at 8:30 p.m.
The match is the first in a single-elimination tournament comprising 32 teams. “We have absolutely no idea (about the talent of other teams,)” Coach Roger Ftincham said. “Nobody has seep anybody.”
Scheduled to compete in tonight’s opener are Pop Quiz team members James Dennis, Will Oliver, Dwight Parker and Jonathan Watson. About 12 pther students also are team members.
