Patricia Saltonstall of Points of View Farm in Flint Hill has filed two separate suits against Diane and Roger . Kidwell, also of Flint Hill. The suits were filed on November 7.
Both Buits refer to problems between Saltonstall and the Kidwells regarding property owned by both parties in the Lindgren Whaley tract. The tract is a subdivision, and Saltonstall owns lots F, G, and H, while the Kidwells own lots A and E.
In both suits, Saltonstall states that a fifty foot right of way through the subdivision was granted by the deed to the landholders, and that on September 14, 1982 she wrote the Kidwells informing them of her intention to widen and improve the roadway. Saltonstall explained in the letter the need to “monitor the valuable cattle grazing on her property accessed by the right of way, and further, she requested that the defendants remove posts, trees, and a cattle guard which they had placed in the right of way.”
