Two Rappahannock men are

retiring from the Virginia Department of Highways with a combined total of 86 years service. They are Moffett H. Brady of Flint Hill and Carlton Atkina, Sperryville, and they were honored by fellow employees and the department with a dinner Thursday evening at Holly House near Culpeper.

Residents of Rappahannock are being asked by Commander Carson B. Johnson of V.F.W. Poet NO. 1150 to join in a national day of prayer November 16, asking for peace, safety of our servicemen in Vietnam, national unity and guidance for the United States in this time of crisis.
