Community Thanksgiving Service The Amissville Baptist Church and the Forest Grove Baptist Church in Viewtown are planning to have a community Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday evening, November 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Forest Grove Church. The Rev. Joseph Stirman, pastor of the Amissville Church will bring the Thanksgiving message and the Forest Grove choir will render special music. A special offering will be taken for the Amissville Fire Department and Rescue Squad. Everyone is invited.
Methodist Services Worship services at the county Methodist Churches on Sunday, November 18 include a 9 a.m. service at Flint Hill, services at Sperryville at 11:15 a.m. and a 10 a.m. service at Willis Chapel. The Rev. Merlin Shorb is pastor of the Rappahannock Charge and with the congregations invites the public to attend.
