All wedding stories must be typed. They should include the marriage date and should be received by the Rappahannock News no later than two months after the wedding.
Black and white photographs are preferred. We suggest that the bride advise her photographer of this. We can print a picture from a color shot but it usually becomes too dark. We want your wedding picture to reproduce as clearly as possible; we’re sure you do, too.
Forms for your announcement are available at the Rappahannock News office. If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Burke at the Rappahannock News, P.O. Box 59, Washington, Va. 22747, telephone (703)675-3349.
