PAYS TO SELL

PROFESSIONALLY

You may think it is smart to sell your own home — without the services of a Realtor — but statistics prove that this is costly thinking. According to a recent survey, only about half of those who try to sell their own homes, actually do. The other half eventually hire a Realtor. In one way, these are the lucky ones.

‘‘For Sale By Owners" generally sell their properties for less than properties sold by Realtors. How much less? The survey found that homes sold by Realtors averaged 12% more in the final selling price. The myriad of negotiating, selling, advertising, and arranging financing for prospective buyers are often underestimated by those who try to sell on their own and may be a good part of the reason for this sales price differential.

If you are considering selling your own home, why not discuss it with our office. It will cost you nothing and you’ll probably end up with a much more satisfying result.
